After a difficult time staying out of the book in coach Oscar Pareja's debut season as head coach in 2014, FC Dallas has become a much more disciplined team.

FCD benefited from two Sporting Kansas City players sitting out with suspensions Saturday: Roger Espionza has seven yellow cards on the season, while Soni Mustivar was sent off in Sporting's previous match, triggering an automatic one-match suspension.
