The Oklahoma City Energy FC have signed former FC Dallas defender Anthony Wallace for the 2017 season, Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen stated today.
Wallace, 28, signed with Major League Soccer as a Generation Adidas player ahead of the 2007 SuperDraft. Drafted as the ninth overall pick by FC Dallas, the Brooklyn native would go on to make six appearances for Dallas’ reserves before earning his professional debut on September 15, 2007, against the New England Revolution.
The 28-year-old was later traded to the Colorado Rapids in 2010 in exchange for a 2011 MLS SuperDraft pick.
