The Oklahoma City Energy FC has announced that they have re-signed goalkeepers Cody Laurendi, CJ Cochran, and Jacob Lissek for the 2017 USL season – pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.
Laurendi will be making a return to Oklahoma City after a career-high season as the Energy’s starting man in goal. The 28-year-old goalkeeper posted a USL leading 12 regular season clean sheets last season, a stat that saw him earn a call-up to Puerto Rico’s National Team.
“He had a fantastic season with us in 2016 and earned a well-deserved Team MVP,” said Energy FC head coach Jimmy Nielsen.
