I like seeing MLS expansion succeed because I root for American soccer. I liked seeing that 50,000+ crowd for the Atlanta United home opener last Sunday night. It will be fun to see what kind of crowd Minnesota United musters on Sunday as they host Atlanta. Having said that, as an FC Dallas fan I still can't help feeling a little jealous of these enthusiastic new clubs, since 21 years on, we still can't fill our small stadium. Nonetheless, healthy expansion is good for American soccer as a whole, so I wish new MLS teams success. Granted, it's a whole lot easier to have that attitude when FC Dallas' on-field product is currently awesome.
