FRISCO -- A three-assist performance from Mauro Diaz led FC Dallas to a 3-2 victory over the LA Galaxy on Saturday.
It was Diaz's first start since March 7, with the Argentine either featuring as a substitute or not coming in to the team's last four matches.
Coach Oscar Pareja went back to the 4-2-3-1 formation that has been his most common alignment in his tenure. The setup thrives when there's a playmaker like Diaz in the center. Pareja said he's been impressed with how Diaz responded to not being part of the starting 11 in the last few weeks.
