FC Dallas hosts Sevilla on Wednesday, and while it's only a friendly match, the team is taking the game seriously.
FCD coach Luchi Gonzalez said his team watched film on the Spanish first-division club Tuesday and is treating the match as a competitive game. Even so, it's going to be a chance for some of his reserves to get a good run-out as FCD turns the page on last week's loss to Minnesota United and looks ahead to a weekend trip to face Sporting Kansas City.
"It's a Wednesday. It is a high-load day. We want to have the guys get some frequent intensity, but the overall load will be short," Gonzalez said.
