One of the best off the field developments this season has been the creation of the FCDTV Network. The FCDTV Network consists of seven over-the-air TV stations, so far, that are carrying FC Dallas games in DFW, Amarillo, Bryan-College Station, Lubbock, Tyler, Waco and Wichita Falls.
One of the problems with any cable TV deal is cable penetration. Not everyone has cable TV or satellite. Dallas has one of the lower cable TV penetration rates in the nation (AKA a high "broadcast only" market) and those numbers are often dropping due to cord cutting or "alternative delivery systems" (ADS) where Dallas ranks high.
