The 2018 regular season hasn’t begun yet for FC Dallas but injuries are starting to show. FC Dallas midfielder Kellyn Acosta had successful surgery to repair a sports hernia today at the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
The club stated that he will be out six-to-eight weeks as he recovers from this surgery.
You may recall players like Victor Ulloa and Anibal Chala having this same surgery last season, so the time table for return should be familiar to some.
Acosta has a groin injury all throughout preseason camp this year and was pulled from last week’s final friendly against Portland due to obvious pain.
