FC Dallas kicked off their quarterfinal series with Panamanian side Arabe Unido on Thursday night with a 4-0 win.
Kellyn Acosta contributed two second half goals to help boost the MLS side.
FC Dallas got their first good look at goal nine minutes in as Roland Lamah got a ball into the penalty box that forced a Arabe defender to clear it out to the right side where Hernan Grana picked the ball up and sent a curling ball back into the box, forcing Miguel Lloyd to make a save.
FCD broke through first in the 30th minute on a long ball from Carlos Gruezo played over the top of the Arabe defense to Cristian Colman.
