The first national team camp for the United States is set to start up soon and FC Dallas will have one familiar face on the roster for the opening camp of 2016. Homegrown midfielder Kellyn Acosta has earned his first national team call up from Jurgen Klinsmann ahead of games against Iceland and Canada.
The camp, which runs from Jan. 11 to Feb. 6, and contains a mix of senior team members and players age-eligible for the U-23 MNT.
The Plano native appeared in 21 regular-season matches for FC Dallas, starting 19 games, scoring three goals and tallying two assists in 2015.
