It was an evening of milestones at Toyota Stadium on a soaking wet Saturday night, but particularly for FC Dallas captain Matt Hedges. The team celebrated it's 200th home win after waiting out its second longest weather delay, Oscar Pareja notched his 100th MLS regular season win, and the 28-year-old center back wrote his name in the record books too.
Hedges, in his seventh season, became only the third player to make 200th MLS regular season appearances for FC Dallas or the Dallas Burn. Jason Kreis holds the record at 247, while Bobby Rhine made 212 appearances. Hedges' 193 starts has already surpassed Rhine's number as the second most for a Dallas player in MLS regular season play, while Kreis made 227 starts for Dallas.
