The first preseason causality has hit for FC Dallas. Forward Francis Atuahene underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured pectoral muscle suffered last week in Frisco.

Atuahene is expected to fully recover in four-to-six months.

The second year forward struggled with injuries in his rookie season and it appears that trend is sadly going to continue. He first broke his arm in preseason and then followed that up with a calf strain that sidelined him for most of the summer.

The limited time that he did see the field was in the USL with Oklahoma City Energy where he played in eight games.
