The Vaqueros will celebrate Fourth of July with an exhibition match against popular Mexican club Santos Laguna's U20 side. The exhibition game marks the second this season against a club from Mexico as the Vaqueros are slated to face Monterrey Rayados' U20 side on June 30. The match is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Texas Wesleyan University's Martin Field.
"We can think of no better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a soccer match," Vaqueros Director of Business Operations Tobias Xavier Lopez said. "We had a great time last summer on July 4th and expect to do the same this year.
