After bidding goodbye to Chris Seitz in free agency, FC Dallas signed goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer this season. The former New York Cosmos goalkeeper is expected to push Jesse Gonzalez for the starting job, but first had to get settled in North Texas.
"You always feel like you're sprinting around, there's always something to do moving one thing to the next, selling my house in New York, moving here, getting the kids in school and one thing after another," said Maurer, who has three sons. "But it's been great, it's been a lot of fun, we found a great place to live, great neighborhood.
