Continuing their preparation for the upcoming CONCACAF Champions’ League matches and MLS season, FC Dallas defeated Costa Rican side C.S. Cartagines 3-1 at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night.
While on pregame paper FCD fielded their usual 4-2-3-1, Dallas, in reality, shifted to a back three, with usual left back Anton Nedyalkov tucking in and playing center back.
"The players we have and the players that are just now coming in have their own special characteristics," coach Oscar Pareja said. "I think it's the coaches' responsibility to use them in the best way possible and put them in a spot where they can have success.
