MCKINNEY, TX --- FC Dallas took a big step towards professional women's soccer, with the club's inaugural game in the Women's Premier Soccer League. As Oscar Pareja's men won 4-2 at New England, 452 fans made it out to McKinney High School to watch a dominant performance against Conroe-based Texas Titans. The team was led out by Ellie Slate, a member of the '04 girls premier team, who is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Fans and players alike sported orange ribbons in support of Ellie over the past year. It was a fitting start to a new chapter in women's soccer in the Metroplex.
