FC Dallas extended its Fourth of July winning streak to six with a dominant 2-0 performance over D.C. United in front of a sellout crowd at Toyota Stadium Thursday.
The fireworks on the field started very early for FC Dallas, opening up the scoring in the sixth minute. Midfielder Brandon Servania lined up a shot from just outside the box, forcing D.C. United keeper Bill Hamid to make a tough save. The ball was parried out to the side, where an eager Ryan Hollingshead crossed the ball in, finding Santiago Mosquera for his first goal of the 2019 MLS season.
