FC Dallas is back at home this weekend as they host the winless Portland Timbers for the first time in 2019.
Portland is in the middle of a long, season-opening road trip while Providence Park is under construction. So far the Timbers have only picked up a single point, a draw on opening day in Colorado.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against Portland. We’ve tried to put this one out of our heads as much as we could. Portland came into Frisco for the Knockout Round of the 2018 playoffs and really controlled that match against Oscar Pareja’s side, winning what would be a MLS Cup run for them on the road.
