FC Dallas will have to wait until Decision Day to figure out where they will be in the MLS Playoffs after falling 3-0 on Sunday to Sporting Kansas City.
The loss, along with LAFC’s result against Vancouver pushed FC Dallas down the standings into third place.
Johnny Russell scored two goals on the day for Sporting KC, while veteran Roger Espinoza picked up an insurance goal of his own in the second half to help push Sporting back into the top position in the Western Conference.
Both sides came out with a lot of energy and physical play as they each traded chances in the opening ten minutes.
