FC Dallas has signed defender Marquinhos Pedroso using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) and pending receipt of his ITC and P-1 visa. He will occupy an international roster slot.
With Major League Soccer’s secondary transfer window opening on Tuesday, July 10, the first match Pedroso would be eligible to play in would be against Chicago on Saturday, July 14.
The 24-year old has made 108 appearances (98 starts) in Brazilian (70/63), Turkish (15/15) and Hungarian (23/20) first division matches since 2012.
A dual citizen of Brazil and Italy, he made his professional debut at 18 years old for Figueirense.
