FC Dallas has tapped into the Colombian market yet again as they have announced via press release that they signed defensive midfielder Juan Esteban Ortiz.
The 28-year old has appeared in 241 matches in the Colombian first division with Independiente Medellín. Millonarios and Atletico Huila. Ortiz appeared in 108 matches for Medellín from 2008 to 2010. He then transferred to Millonarios in 2011 and played 109 matches before being loaned to Atletico Huila ahead of the 2015 season. Ortiz added another 24 matches to his resume last season, playing alongside former FC Dallas star, David Ferreira.
