FC Dallas has completed the signing of Honduran international Bryan Acosta as a Designated Player. The 25-year-old midfielder arrives from CD Tenerife for a reported $3.2m, which would represent both a record transfer for FC Dallas - albeit unofficial given the team policy of not announcing details - and an increase in spending for the club.
Acosta arrived in the Canary Islands in the summer of 2017, after making 129 appearances for Honduran side Real España. made 51 appearances with six goals and six assists. He has been a regular presence for Honduras since breaking into the squad shortly after the 2014 FIFA World Cup, making 33 appearances.
