FRISCO -- FC Dallas extended its lead over the MLS Western Conference to three points with a 4-2 win over the Houston Dynamo.
"I thought this was one of the games I enjoyed most this season," said FCD coach Oscar Pareja. "Not just for the importance of the derby and the importance of the three points."
Following two ties in the Texas Derby series, Dallas raced into the lead in just the ninth minute as Michael Barrios extended his streak to seven games with a goal or an assist. The Colombian winger took a through ball down the right from Maxi Urruti before lifting the ball over visiting keeper Joe Willis.
