FRISCO -- Goals from Maxi Urruti and Kellyn Acosta helped FC Dallas erase a nightmare start and win 2-1 Wednesday in the first leg of a CONCACAF Champions League semifinal with Pachuca.
The result means the series hangs in the balance, with FC Dallas heading to Pachuca for the return match April 5.
Acosta scored a stunning free kick from around 25 yards out to give FCD the lead in the 58th minute, but the game had been very much in the balance before his decisive strike.
"I thought it was a fantastic game," FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja said.
