FC Dallas opens spring play with a defeat of the University of Tulsa

The first of many spring tune-up games for FC Dallas took place Saturday against the University of Tulsa Hurricanes on the primary training field outside Toyota Stadium. Tulsa finished 6-8-1 last season with wins over SMU and Stanford. FC Dallas came away with the 1-0 win in today's meeting.

The match was formatted into three 30 minute periods. For FC Dallas, the game consisted of reserve and younger players, including draft picks. Those were the likes Paxton Pomykal, Bryan Reynolds, Brandon Servania, and Jacori Hayes mixed with draft picks and other trialists.

Dallas had many opportunities to score in the match and was in control for most of the game.
