For the third time in the last four years, FC Dallas began the season with a shutout as they downed the Philadelphia Union 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Dallas got a first half goal from Fabian Castillo and then one in the second half by newcomer Maximiliano Urruti.
Four minutes into the match FC Dallas nearly had the game's first goal as Atiba Harris drove a ball in from the right side to Urruti. The Argentine forward missed a scissor kick on the play and Mauro Diaz then took the ball and put it in the back of the net.
