FC Dallas has yet to get him on the field but goalkeeper Phelipe Megiolaro will soon get some national team play.
Phelipe was called into the latest Brazilian U-23 squad for friendlies in preparation for the Olympics, which Brazil already qualified for. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 21-year old joined FC Dallas on loan from Gremio in August. The deal comes with a purchase option. So far head coach Luchi Gonzalez has had him on his bench for the last few games after Jimmy Maurer returned from injury and when Kyle Zobeck picked up an injury of his own.
