FC Dallas looked like they had three points in the bag on a wet and slippery Saturday night but a late goal in the 86th minute from Real Salt Lake proved to be the difference as the two sides split the points in a 2-2 draw.
Real Salt Lake got on the board first with a goal in the 20th minute from Rubio Rubin. Dallas was able to respond just before halftime with a penalty kick goal from Franco Jara, the veteran strikers’ first goal of the season.
The two sides traded blows in the second half as both were looking for the go-ahead goal.
