The third installment of the Texas Derby goes orange as a ten-man Houston Dynamo downed FC Dallas 2-0.
Houston made the first breakthrough in the 19th minute as Darwin Quintero got on the end of an Ariel Lassiter pass that cut through the Dallas defense.
The Dynamo nearly doubled their lead in the 33rd minute had it not been for a double-save by Dallas keeper Jimmy Maurer. First on a a shot from Mauro Manotas and then a header from Sam Junqua.
Houston was reduced to ten men just before the end of the first half as Mauro Manotas was issued a red card after a video review on a tackle of Andres Ricarute.
