FRISCO - With his team on the verge of locking up a spot in the MLS playoffs, FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja decided to sit his best players.
That decision didn't turn out quite the way Pareja had hoped.
Despite holding the ball 61 percent of the time and getting some good looks, FCD couldn't find the goal and fell 1-0 to the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.
The loss ended FCD's club-record streak of 19 consecutive games without a defeat at home. Its last loss in Frisco had been a 2-0 decision against Real Salt Lake on Aug.
