FC Dallas snapped a four-game winless streak on Wednesday night as they downed Sporting Kansas City 1-0.
The game was a spirited back-and-forth affair just like any rivalry game would be as Ryan Hollingshead provided the lone goal just before halftime. But it was the controversy at the end of the match that proved to be the main highlight of the night.
FC Dallas dominated the first half of play and were rewarded with Hollingshead’s goal in the 43rd minute after Andres Ricarute beat a defender before laying it off to Bryan Reynolds who provided a beautiful cross into the penalty box that Hollingshead was able to volley into the back of the net.
