FC Dallas picked up another draw on Wednesday night, this time in a 1-1 battle with rivals Sporting Kansas City. Franco Jara scored his first goal in a Dallas uniform while Khiry Shelton scored the game-tying goal before halftime.
Jara had been looking for his first goal since the league restarted the 2020 season back in early August. This time he took advantage of a defensive mistake in the back from Sporting as Bryan Acosta scooped up a bad pass and then laid it off to Jara who chipped it over Tim Melia for the game’s first game.
