The draw for the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League took place tonight in Miami, Florida. FC Dallas was placed into position A7 and via the draw they will face Tauro FC in the Round of 16.

In the CCL, FC Dallas last faced Tauro FC in 2011-12 Group C play. FC Dallas tied with Tauro 1-1 at Pizza Hut Park, Daniel Cruz scored for FCD, and then got a harsh lesson in CCL play losing to Tauro 5-3 down in Panama City in the penultimate group match for both clubs.
