FC Dallas dominates D.C. United 3-0

WASHINGTON -- Michael Barrios scored his first two goals of the season Saturday to help FC Dallas beat D.C. United 3-0.

Barrios opened the scoring in the 14th minute, taking advantage of miscommunication between two United defenders and putting away a left-footer from the top of the box.

Fourteen minutes later, Barrios got free on a breakaway and poked the ball past charging goalkeeper Travis Worra to give Dallas a 2-0 lead.

Maximiliano Urruti made it 3-0 in the 52nd minute, his second goal of the season for FCD (3-1-0).

With starting goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez among seven FCD players away on international duty, Chris Seitz had to make only two saves in his first start of the season.
