FRISCO -- When Carlos Gruezo next enters Toyota Stadium on match day, he'll fight with everything he has against the home team. That will be a weird feeling for the FC Dallas midfielder.
Gruezo was named to Ecuador's Copa America Centenario squad and on Wednesday will face the United States in a friendly leading up to the tournament. By chance, that match is taking place here in North Texas.
But the normal Toyota Stadium tenant, FC Dallas, has been an enormous part of Gruezo's getting back into the national team picture. Now 21, Gruezo was one of the youngest players at the 2014 World Cup, logging time in two of La Tricolor's three matches in Brazil.
