FC Dallas and FC Bayern Munich have confirmed the news from last Tuesday, that the team's homegrown defender Chris Richards is being sent on loan to Bayern Munich.
Richards was named 2018 Developmental Academy Central Conference Player of the Year this week.
Richards was signed by FC Dallas in April as the team's 22nd Homegrown. Shortly after that, Richards took part in a 10-day training stint with FC Bayern that same month at the club's recently opened state-of-the-art youth academy under the supervision of the Head of Youth Development, Jochen Sauer.
