The first 90 minutes of the 2020 Texas Derby is in the books for FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo, as the two sides split a 0-0 draw on Friday night.
Either it was the balmy weather in Houston at kickoff, the month-long layoff for the Dynamo or just the struggle for FC Dallas, neither side really looked all that dangerous on the night in front of the net.
Houston did have the better of the ball possession and pressure in the first half. Their best chance came in the 26th minute, as Christian Ramirez took a shot from the right side of the box that forced Jimmy Maurer to make a big save.
