The Oklahoma City Energy FC has announced the signing of Welsh native Chad Bond. The midfielder previously spent time with Saint Louis FC before parting ways.
Bond, 30, has played for a plethora of teams since starting his professional career in 2003. Starting as a Swansea City youth product, the Welsh midfielder played a total of three games for the now-Premier League team before embarking on an international tour. Bond spent time with clubs from Wales, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.
Bond’s first appearance in the United States came in 2014 when he joined USL side the Sacramento Republic.
