The Oklahoma City Energy FC has acquired former Seattle Sounders midfielder Andy Craven from USL side FC Cincinnati in exchange for Danish forward Danni Konig.
Craven, 25, previously played with the OKC Energy during the 2016 USL season after being cut from Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders FC. The former North Carolina Tar Heel made nine appearances and played 588 minutes as he helped Jimmy Nielsen’s side to a playoff spot. Opting to not stay with the Energy during this recent offseason, Craven elected to join FC Cincinnati. He would appear in three matches for Cincinnati before being handed a four-match suspension following an incident during his side’s 1-0 loss to Bethlehem Steel on April 29.
