In a stark reminder that winter can still throw punches, even in April, the cold front that the Colorado Rapids brought with them really came in freezing cold on Saturday night. The crowd wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be when I saw the forecast for the night. This time I showed up early for parking so we didn’t have to make a long trek in the freezing dark that night. The tying goal was a relief for the crowd that showed up, but the pessimism set in soon after the final whistle.
