Fans of the US Women's National Team felt disappointment earlier as England claimed the SheBelieves Cup at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, but one DFW family will have been delighted with the result.
London-born Coppell-raised Chioma Ubogagu was among the England side to lift the trophy after defeating Japan 3-0 to ensure that they could not be caught by the three time World Cup winning US side. The Yanks went on to beat Brazil 1-0 in the dead rubber thanks to Tobin Heath's 20th minute winner.
Ubogagu was a part of the US player pool, having played in the youth groups and received a senior callup in late 2017 without being capped.
