Despite falling 2-1 at Arabe Unido on Wednesday night, FC Dallas advanced to the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals for the first time in club history with a 5-2 aggregate win.
FC Dallas will face 2016 Liga MX Clausura champions CF Pachuca in the semifinals beginning on either March 14th or 15th at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
FCD took the early lead in this second leg thanks to a 25th minute own-goal by Arabe Unido. Michael Barrios drove down the right side of the field and sent in a tough cross that forced the Arabe defender to make a poor touch into his own goal.
