The 2017 Texas Derby started off with a bit of a dud as FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo tied 0-0 on Sunday evening.
The draw keeps Dallas winless in three straight games after falling to San Jose last weekend and Chicago last Thursday.
The best chance for FC Dallas in the first half came off a free kick in the 26th minute from Kellyn Acosta. Michael Barrios helped set up the free kick from 22 yards out. Acosta’s kick bent around the Houston wall but Tyler Deric was able to push it aside.
