After a week of speculative tweets about a bidding war between FC Dallas and Sao Paulo FC, Dallas look set to announce the signing of Paraguayan striker, Cristian Colman. In an almost unheard of move, Dan Hunt tweeted the following before the club has made any official announcement:
Unless it's all been a decoy for a different player, Colman, 22, appears to be set to join from Nacional Asuncion and will become Dallas' third designated player with a reported $1.5m transfer fee.
Colman scored 31 times in 105 appearances in the Paraguayan Premier Division, with an average of a goal every 220 minutes, similar to Maxi Urruti's 219 minutes per goal.
