The Dallas Sidekicks play the El Paso Coyotes tonight at 7 pm at the Allen Event Center and both teams come into the game with momentum having won their last Major Area Soccer League matches.
On December 29, the Sidekicks (3-3) traveled to El Paso, dominated the game early, survived a third period resurgence, then reasserted themselves in the 4th to cruise to a 10-7 victory. Last night, the Coyotes (1-3) responded to that loss with an impressive 9-7 home victory over the Tacoma Stars, which is only Tacoma's second loss on the year.
Despite the win, that leaves El Paso tied with the Rio Grande Valley Barracudas for last in the group standings, while the Sidekicks lead things on games won but behind the Monterrey Flash (2-1) in win percentage.
