The Dallas Sidekicks fell to the Monterrey Flash at the Allen Event Center on Sunday afternoon, 5-1, after the Mexican side broke open a tight game with two quick goals late in the third period. It was another solid start against a quality opponent for Dallas, but once again they could not keep pace as the game progressed.
The Flash (5-1) started the game brightly, scoring a mere 9 seconds into the game as Frank Tayou scored through a Carlos Farias feed, but that was the only scoring of the half as Sidekicks' net-minder Juan Gamboa kept Dallas (4-5) alive.
