Talk about unfortunate timing. A week after being named to the Paraguaian national team camp for the October FIFA window, FC Dallas forward Cristian Colman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a training session on Tuesday at Toyota Soccer Center.
He will undergo surgery to repair the injury once swelling in his knee subsides. He will miss the remainder of the 2018 MLS season.
There is no official time table for when he could return in 2019.
Colman has appeared in 17 matches across all competitions for FC Dallas this season, scoring three goals.
