FRISCO -- In many ways, there will be a clash of styles when FC Dallas hosts the LA Galaxy on Saturday.
FCD is a paragon of developing young players, pouring money into the academy rather than spending more to bring in big-name players that require big-time contracts. That has resulted in homegrown players like Kellyn Acosta, Victor Ulloa and Jesse Gonzalez among regular starters, while players signed cheap from South America and developed young like Michael Barrios and Mauro Diaz also have been important to FCD.
The LA Galaxy need to stand out in their market, and they do so by signing those marketable names.
