With the senior FC Dallas team out in LA this weekend, I decided to check out the FCD Academy U19 game against Solar SC at the Toyota Soccer Center on Sunday. The game was on field 4 at the complex and both sides were missing key pieces.
For Dallas, playmaker Thomas Roberts and new homegrown signing Chris Richards are in Germany still training with Bayern Munich. They are coming back later this week, after which Richards will go join one of the US youth national team camps, so the FCD 19s will be without him for a bit.
