HOUSTON -- Michael Barrios scored two goals, including the go-ahead score in the 60th minute, and FC Dallas beat the Houston Dynamo 3-1 on Saturday night.
FCD (14-7-6, 48 points) avenged a 5-0 loss at Houston in March near the start of the season. Dallas also won at Houston in the U.S. Open Cup.
Meanwhile, Dallas padded its lead to five points in the race for the Supporters' Shield, which goes to the team with the best regular-season record in Major League Soccer.
